i am just wandering, how you going to avoid damaging radiant tubing when installing interior walls. after it is under slab how will you know where to drill and where not? i am interested because i will be using radiant system in my new home.
how thick is your slab? seems like your tubing is quite close to finish floor. when you saw cut the concrete when its finished you need to go to 25% of its depth. seems like you will be saw cutting your tubing. if it is 5" slab than steel goes usually 3" off the bottom, than if you have 7/8" tubing that leaves you less than inch depending on steel#. saw cut needs to go around 1 1/4" deep for such a slab. that would conflict with tubing.
We have always been modernists, expressed through our furniture and the interior design of our prior houses -- some of which were new, but builder-designed. This house , which we consider our "last home," will be our first custom, designed from scratch, home.
